my guestbook

There are so many great options for guestbooks out there I thought I would share what we did for our wedding.  I wanted something I could keep out at all times and that wasn't an obvious guestbook.  I bought a National Geographic photography book featuring lovers around the world.  It was cleverly titled "LOVE".

Photobucket

Hey, there it is...see LOVE

Photobucket

It is filled with heartfelt messages from family

Photobucket

And from friends

Photobucket

Messages in Thai
(we still don't know what that says)

Photobucket

Words of wisdom

Photobucket

And funny things too!

It is currently displayed on my coffee table.
I love flipping through it and remembering that day.

Terrific, non-traditional option for a guestbook!! I've been at a loss for out-of-the-box ideas, but this is pushing my thinking a bit. Thanks so much. Love the guest comments!!

GREAT idea! So...I told you I love looking at wedding ideas and thinking about them and somewhere I got the idea of having people bring a picture from their wedding (if they're married) and a picture that represents love if they're not (or something creative) and having them write their messages there and make a book. i just love looking at people's wedding photos where you can see the love between them and think it would be cool to have them write their message on a photo they pick and put it in a book...

i agree, it's so hard to wrap our heads on how badly the war is when we don't experience it fully. I give men and women who are wanting to take part in the war that had happened in the past, present and future kudos. It must be physically and emotionally difficult. Sometimes I wish I had the courage and the endurance to be in cadets but I don't have that self discipline.
