I don't like heart jewelry, either. It's for 16 year olds.
I like gold, but only if it's not too shiny or brassy looking. I especially like to wear it in the summertime when I'm tan. I like really pale, brushed gold. It's not too flashy but adds a nice pop.
You know I love necklaces just like that! I'm in love with the first one especially!

I only wear yellow gold, because it goes better with my colouring (red hair, freckles, peaches & cream complexion). I adore the puff heart necklace and am so so tempted to order for myself!
....white gold or platinum with big diamonds. Heart jewelry is not my fav either but heck if it's loaded with big diamonds; gift me!
