diy aqua mason jars

Aqua mason jars are so pretty, and also pretty pricey. I never thought it could be a DIY but I came across a few tutorials and I can't wait to try it.

This one from Bridal Buzz uses a product called Vitrea 160 in turquoise and is baked after painting.

This one from The Little Apartment uses Mod Podge and food coloring.

I think they both turned out great. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to pay full price for the real thing now!

Wow! They look awesome with those Peonies in them. I can almost smell them.

Um peonies are the bomb.

As is your header image. My husband just told me I can buy some wellies....next year....if we meet a ridiculously high savings goal.

Sigh.
