thank you, save the date, how do you do....cards

Did you see this adorable photo card idea at Oh Happy Day?  I think they would make perfect Save the Date or Thank You cards.  Using photos from your engagement session or reception, make your own captions and tape them straight to the photo with Japanese masking tape.

So many great uses for Japanese masking tape out there:

Here's a great roundup with lots of decor ideas.
Dress up gift tags with just a few strips.
Top a present with a tape bow.

LOVED this when I saw it on her site. I kind of worship her just like I do Martha Stewart. But, I admit that the green-eyed monster comes out frequently when she talks about living in France and how wonderful her life is there. Then, I want to kick her. Wow, I must be in a grumpy and mean mood today!
