When I was younger I always thought that if I had a beach house I would hang an American flag on the white washed walls. It seemed very Cape Cod/Ralph Lauren and I still love the look. If I had a wedding during the 4th of July weekend I would have all my friends and family sign a flag as my guestbook. It would be a great keepsake for my future beach house. Oh hindsight ;)

Is it ok to write on the American flag? If so this is a great idea! I love seeing flags in people homes. I think they are so pretty.
cute idea! I'm spending the fourth laying by the pool drinking sangria being worthless... we're going on a long hike on the 3rd so I plan on drinking extra sangria to make up for that!

My stepsister got married ON the 4th of July. Her wedding was fairly traditional, but with a few 4th of July touches, like sparklers and fireworks!
