These mason jar lanterns remind me of a field of fairies. They are simple to make (tissue paper and glue) and would look so beautiful for an evening ceremony or reception.

If you love the colorful glow, but don't want to mess with candles and tissue paper. Buy a box of glowsticks, cut off one end and pour it into the jar. Seal with a lid and shake to coat the inside. Voila! Instant lantern.

one of my monkeys made one of these at school a few years back- it would look so neat to have a plethora of them.
