How pretty are these?
{these guys are actually butterbeer jello shots ;) via Rock UR Party}
Directions
- Combine the Jello and boiling water in a boil. Stir until completely dissolved, about 2 minutes. Let set until it comes to room temperature. Slowly stir in the Champagne. Pour into 9x9 tray and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours. Once firm, dip the tray in hot water for 5 seconds. Use a thin knife to slice into squares.
2. Sprinkle with colored sugar just before serving.

Yum, um can't there be mimosa jello shots? I think I may have to experiment!
Holy sparkling jello shots! I love this idea and can't wait to make them! Brilliant Nikki, thanks for posting!!
Yes please.
Hmm, this might work with sparkling cider too. So pretty!
oh em gee I'm suddenly super disappointed that we didn't have these at our wedding last year!!
I love this idea so much. I can't wait to try it.

These look amazing! I hope mine come out as pretty.
I was really looking forward to making these this christmas, until i discovered that the flavor of sparkling white grape jello has been discontinued (in my area, at least). Do you have any suggestions on some other flavor that could be substituted? Thanks!
Making these tonight for my NYE party & b'day. Also making the kids some too. Non alcohol of course.
Awesome recipe
White grape jello was discontinued a few years back. I used orange jello for one batch and strawberry for another and both tasted great. Mine came out nothing like the picture I'll definitely use ice cube trays next time. They are really fun to eat and tasty too. I used a mix of champagne and vodka for a bit more kick.
They discontinued white grape jello a few years back. I used orange jello for one batch (mimosas) and strawberry for another batch and both were really good. They are fun to eat, the pop rocks really make it, but like the recipe says make sure you wait to add the pop rocks until right before they are served or they will melt the jello. Also mine turned out nothing like the picture. I am definitely using ice cube trays next time. I also mixed half vodka half champagne for more kick in one batch and they were equally yummy.
