We walked past a florist shop and I saw these beautiful paper lanterns and I couldn't help but picture them hanging at the alter. They were $65 each and I swore I would find them cheaper.
I did find them cheaper at Luna Baazar, but not by much!
Of course, you could DIY with these similar twirled snowflakes.
Perhaps make less cuts so it will hide the bulb?

Sounds like a lovely weekend! And paper lanterns are so fun, I've always wanted to decorate my house with them. Thanks for the diy link!
Stop suggesting crafts, there's no time anymore ahahahah :teresarunsafterhertail:
But they do throw a magical beam :sigh:. Maybe next year.
Thank you for sharing!
Hahaha, Teresa. I know, I wish I had the time...but these are so so cute, maybe I'll just make the time, darn it! xo
My holiday theme is snowflakes so I would love one of those lanterns for our living room window! I may put one on my wish list :-)
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!
Perfect for my someday New Years/Winter wedding!
I saw these at the Christmas market - I didn't check the price, but I checked last year for similar ones at another market and they were about 80 bucks. Yikes!
But they are very cute. I just wonder how they'd survive from one year to the next in the basement!
How gorgeous!!
OMGosh I loooove those!!!

That snowflake is SO easy to make -- a friend of mine and I made them for her house a couple years ago. She hung them from the ceiling over her dining room table. Beautiful!
I'm nostalgic re: the omnipresent Filipino parol you see at this time of year -- Philippines' version of the star lantern.
Gorgeous, although, I do not think I'd want to think of snowflakes at my wedding. I'm not a big winter fan.
I LOVE thos lanterns. But so expensive! I have seen people demonstrate how to make those ones on the bottom and I swear I'm gonna do it someday. Someday!
