branch chandelier

I've always eyed those lit branches at the store, but thought they were cheesy and didn't see much use for them.  Until I was flipping through the new Dwell magazine and saw a house that used them as a chandelier. 

Wouldn't these be beautiful and whimsical as chandeliers at a reception?  You can find a variety of discount LED branches at Save on Crafts.
